More "Grand" Visits...

Amelia got another visit from more Grandparents this past weekend! She's so spoiled.

Grandpa Dan and Ma-Sybia came from Las Vegas to meet Amelia for the first time. I think they decided that they like her just a little bit. Maybe she likes them a little bit, too- not sure. Or maybe all her smiles are just from gas. Haha!

Mimi Vs. the Play Mat: Round #3...

Round #3 brings Mimi, once again, face to face with the infamous "dangly blue hippo".

Unwilling to make nicey-nice, Mimi takes the hippo by the ring (so to speak) and flashes her opponent that trademark death stare. Hippo is clearly taken off guard, falls to defeat, and is eventually gobbled up by the victorious Mimi. Take that, hippo!

Ok, I'll just say it- This kid is freakin' adorable!

In a Bed Of Roses...

11 weeks- I made this flower mat for Auntie Laura's photography business. Amelia helped me get some photos of it before I sent it out.

Now all you have to do is figure out how to get that darn Bon Jovi song out of your head.

I'm Cute Even When I'm Not Trying...

Sorry for taking so long to post. Halloween costume making season is upon us and Mama's gotta strike while the iron is hot (if you know what I mean).

This is how I found Amelia sleeping when I checked on her the other night. It was so adorable that it was worth risking waking her up with the flash.

Whenever we go out, people always comment on how quiet Amelia is and I always say she has 2 volumes- mute and screaming. Glad we are getting some mid-range vocals in there now...

Jazzercise!

Amelia is always wanting to be up and about now- especially sitting and standing up. Obviously, she can't do any of his on her own and requires Mom-power to make it happen. Frankly, sometimes it's exhausting.

So, I busted out the exer-saucer to see if Amelia would like it and give Mom a break for a few minutes. It's still way to big for her, but her feet do touch the bottom and she can jump just a little bit (which she loves). I had to stuff the seat with pillows and blankets to support her, but she's holding her head up nicely on her own now.
